Rich Green is one of Harvest Technology’s senior consultants and has over 20 years of experience in building trading and risk systems in the financial services industry. At Harvest Technology, Rich is the Product Manager for Galaxy, our hedge fund solution framework.

Rich’s professional experience includes two years at a leading hedge fund that ran multiple strategies, including convertible arbitrage, correlation, and relative credit. Rich developed integrated risk analysis and reporting for the various strategies, and greatly improved the firm’s ability to manage P&L and service investors.

Prior to his hedge fund experience, Rich worked at Merrill Lynch as a Director in Equity Derivatives, capping a 17-year career that included roles in convertible quantitative analytics, fixed income research, and debt markets technology. At Merrill Lynch, Rich worked for the trading desk to develop customized analytics, working with trading management, sales, quantitative analysis, capital markets origination, research, and technology.

Rich is a domain expert in convertible bonds, equity derivatives, credit default swaps, and related securities. His experience in working with and understanding the needs of traders and portfolio managers is unparalleled.

Rich graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Vermont, and holds the Series 7 & 63 certifications.

Rich is a competitive athlete in platform tennis (nationally ranked) and tennis (regionally ranked).
